John Byrant
John Bryant is Founder and President of Crossroads Access and a successful business person with experience in a number of traditional and web-related businesses. He created Crossroads Access in 1999 as a consulting company focused on projects he and their network of designers and computer scientists enjoyed and found of value. In August, 2008, Mr. Bryant sold Angel Technology and the Research and Development portion of Crossroads Access.
John is responsible for the Crossroads Access approach, development, and direction of sales and services of unique technology, consumer self-help products, as well as web-services for small and medium sized companies. He’s led over 20 successful business implementations involving a variety of complex or time sensitive schedules.
While at Compaq John successfully designed and implemented a hybrid production facility to make custom products to compete with industry competitor Dell. Sales rose from about $320K to over $2 million per day in less than a year. This ‘Greenfield’ production project was later brought back to Houston and morphed to a rapid prototyping product production.
John’s previous experience includes heading on-site merger and acquisition activities for Avnet Electronics Computer Marketing Group and computer integration of an industrial pipe, valve and fitting distribution network, Keenan Pipe and Supply.
His entire career has focused on the business application of speed, ease of doing business and providing exceptional customer experiences. John is experienced at marshalling resources to increase fiscal dependability and profitability. His love of competition and strong people skills has helped execute product and services strategies for Fortune 500 companies, startups and entrepreneurial enterprises.
John’s broad understanding of people and skills at managing time, people and money has yielded excellent rapport with customers and colleagues in his work environments.
He knows well the perils and pleasures of managing, motivating, and positioning teams to rise to the challenges of economic storms and legacy practices in fast-paced market environments. John brings offline experience with online attitude and passion to everything he does.
John is a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. He earned his Masters of Arts degree at Western Michigan University and did pre-doctoral research at New York University in New York City in Biopsychology.
John has deep expertise in technology, learning and medicine. In 2009, John will release a seminal book relating learning with behavior consequences and contingency management.
